I think my feminine side has come out recently. This is evident from the credit card bill that dropped onto the mat this morning. Not pretty!

Anyhow…… all the money I spent has resulted in lots of exciting and odd shaped parcels being delivered.

CFSnet fibreglass order.....Lots of nice solvents, (why do they bother stopping me from buying solvents in shops when I can go online and order 25Kg of premium quality resin and have it delivered right to my door?) [N.B. sniffing glue is not right, and I take some precautions to avoid getting too high when building hovercraft]

Moving on...Here is the list of things I ordered, I hope its enough.

After a long delay collecting the engine due to unforseen surcomstances I finaly collected it. I decided to get the engine, gearbox and exhaust.

On first inspection the engine looks really good.

I finaly got the marine ply as well. It is just my luck that they continualy lost the paperwork and forgot to deliver it!!!

(lots of lovley wood!!)

At last, my duct and fan arived.

The nylon fan blades will eventually get trimmed down to size so they fit in the duct.

Its a trendy blue colour as well :-)

This photo shows just how big the fan is. It is 130cm in diameter!!!
Read on to see the construction get under way.
