| It has been a while since my last update. Simply because I have been so busy with the hovercraft and my silly computer wouldnt let me upload to my site. but hopefully its all fixed now! | Imagine that I am the red bloke and my computer is the blue one and it all becomes clear! |
Once I was happy with the hull I popped the wooden disk out of the duct and bolted the engine and drive system into the craft. Getting the engine to sit down on the studs was a mission and a half but its in now!!! Notice the reliant propshaft joining the engine to the lower pulley. |

This photo shows the layout of the pulleys and belt. I think it looks quite smart. Obviously it will all need to be pulled to bits and painted before it will look 100% |

| Here is a general picture of the craft looking from the front to the back. I have installed a seat back rest for the rearmost passenger to try and stop them getting sucked into the engine :-) | ![]() |
| This photo shows the newly complted dashboard complete with ignition key switch | ![]() |
This is the right hand end of the dasboard. You can clearly see the rev counter, oil pressure light, charge light, power light and ignition key switch. The top red thing is the lanyard kill switch. If I fall out the engine stops! The bottom one is a battery isolator key. If i take the key out the battery disconnects from everything so it is safe. There should be a water remperature guage on the right hand side of the rev counter. It is on order! |

| All those cool lights and switches on the dashboard require a hell of a lot of wiring!!! | ![]() |
In this photo you can see the automotive blade fuse holder. Eventually all the wires will be rapped up in tape so its a lot safer and neater. |

I have mounted my battery under the drivers seat to help balance out the hefty engine at the back. It will eventualy be held down by seatbelt style webbing. You can also see the handbrake lever (adjustable splitter plate) and the associated black control cable. |

The wiring in this craft was a lot more complex than I thought it was going to be. The only way that I was ever going to get it to work was to sketch out what the system was like and then build it from the schematic. Here is my sketch schematic

Click here to see the wiring diagram. When you have finished click the back button on your browser THIS IS AN EXTREEMLY LARGE IMAGE so those poor people still using dialup will have to be patient! |
| I have a huge ammount more to add but have run out of time. please check back in a few days when I should have added a lot more. | |
| Enjoy :-) |
